Biographical Sketch
One of my most primitive memories as a child that I can vividly remember is me pretending to be a teacher. I come from a family of teachers. I have always known that I wanted to be involved with children. In February of 1983, I was the second born to my parents, Craig and Bettie St. Julian of Houston, Texas. I attended University of Houston and received a Bachelor degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in December of 2005. In January of 2006, I finally begun my teaching career, which I felt was my true calling. Being an educator requires a variety of qualifications. Knowledge and professionalism are essential in order to successfully instruct the diverese student needs of today. The qualities of love, patience and understanding are also especially important when working with youth. In December of 2011 I received a Masters in Educational Leadership from the the University of St.Thomas Houston. According to Henry B. Adams, "a teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops." Meaning I now hold the opportunity in my hands to make a difference in shaping the lives and futures of not just the students in my classroom but the entire student body.
